FAQ
Clear, friendly answers about therapy, assessments, policies, and getting started.
What if I've never been to therapy before?
Many of my clients are new to therapy. It’s normal to feel uncertain or nervous.
My approach is warm, steady, and collaborative — you don’t need to know where to start. You just need to show up as you are.
What should I expect in my first therapy session?
Your first session is a chance for us to slow down, get to know each other, and understand what brings you in. I’ll ask about what life has been like lately, what you’re hoping for, and what feels most important to you right now.
You don’t need to prepare anything or know exactly what you want to say — we figure things out together. Most people leave the first session feeling relieved, more grounded, and clearer about the next steps.
