FAQ
Clear, friendly answers about therapy, assessments, policies, and getting started.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. I am currently in-network with:
- Optum / United Healthcare
- SelectHealth
If your plan is managed by one of these carriers, your sessions may be partially or fully covered depending on your benefits.
If you have a different insurance provider, you are welcome to use out-of-network benefits. I can provide a superbill that you can submit for possible reimbursement.
If you’re unsure whether your sessions would be covered, you can call your insurance company and ask about your mental health benefits and deductible. I’m happy to help guide you through the process if it feels confusing or overwhelming.
How does billing work?
We ask that you keep a credit card on file. After each session, we submit billing (including insurance claims, when applicable) and charge any client responsibility (such as a copay, coinsurance, or self-pay rate).
What are your fees?
My self-pay rates are:
- $150 for the initial intake session
- $125 for each individual therapy session (53 minutes of direct time)
- $1,300 for comprehensive psychological evaluations
If you’re using insurance, your out-of-pocket costs (such as a copay, coinsurance, or deductible) depend on your plan’s benefits. I verify benefits before your first session so you know what to expect.
